Day 03
Jispa - Leh

Early morning after breakfast leave for Leh, through Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Lunch at Pang. After Lunch drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft 2nd highest motorable road in the world and Indus Valley. Reach upshi where you drive along with Indus River. On arrival at Leh Check in to the Hotel. Stay overnight in Leh.

Day 04
Leh Local / Shanti Stupa/ Leh Palace / Leh Market

After lunch will visit Shanti stupa , Leh Palace and the local market of Leh. Shanti Stupa built by Japanese monks to promote world peace, this large, hilltop stupa has brightly colored reliefs on its mid-levels and is topped by a spired white hemisphere.
Later visit Leh Palace, built in the 17th century in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture. And evening roam around the local market to shop and try some local cuisine.

Day 05
Leh - Nubra via Khardongla

After an early breakfast ,drive to beautiful NubraValley via Khardungla (Highest Motor-able road in the World, 18,380 ft) with the zig zag trail continues and drive till Hundar village. On arrival check in Hotel or camp. Afternoon enjoy the beauty of sand dune and double hump camel ride. Overnight at Camp or Hotel. 

KHARDUNGLA PASS: The road journey to Nubra valley leads through Khardung La pass (The highest Motorable road in the world) 18,390 ft. around 39 Kms. Away from Leh. There are two checkpoints on the both sides of the pass. Khardong is the first village of Nubra valley at higher altitude than Deskit and other villages. 

DESKIT VILLAGE: Deskit is the main village of headquarter of Nubra valley, which has a small market consisting of a row of shops and about 500 years old Gompa on the hilltop. Spectacular view of the valley can be seen form the monastery. 

DESKIT GOMPA: Deskit Gompa was founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo of Stod in about 1420 AD during the reign of King Dragspa. About 100 monks are residing in the Gompa, which is a branch of Thikse Monastery. The monastic festival called Gustor takes place on 20th and 21st days of the 12th month of Tibetan calendar. 

HUNDAR VILLAGE: Hundar is a beautiful village to stay with lot of trees and you will really enjoy your stay at Hundar. It has a small monastery and ruined fort above the village. The walk or Camel Safari (Double Hump bacterian camels) from Hundar to Deskit, through sand dunes for two hours is wonderful (on own).

Nubra -Turtuk Day Excursion - Nubra

Early morning drive to TURUK village with drive landsape,Exoctic village. Turuk village is about 115km from Nubra valley and can take 4 hours to reach there. Enjoy their old rich traditional citure, foood and many things. Later evening drive back to Nubra (Hunder). Overnight at Nubra.

Disket-Hunder-Pangong Lake (Via Shayok)

Leh - Kargil

Day 10
Kargil - Sonamarg - Srinagar

After an morning tea and sumptuous breakfast ,drive to one of the most exhilarating and beautiful drive in the world , Kargil to Srinagar and road passes through the panoramic village. After Sonmarg the road is mostly rough and wet to Zojila pass 3527 mtrs (Gateway of Ladakh) mostly covered with snow and the drive continue towards Drass (the second coldest inhibited place in the world) were we stop for refreshments and passport check. to reach Sonmarg (2740 mtrs) , which folllows up with lush green fileds on both the sidesAnother few hours drive will take us to Srinagar. Kailash Expeditions representative will transfer you to the houseboat or hotel and keep afternoon free for personal activities. In the evening, take a Shikara ride on Dal Lake to enjoy the sunset. Overnight at houseboat.
